Who we are

During the past several decades, information and materials relevant to the faith life of the Parish, have been collected and/or donated.   The purpose of the Archives Ministry is to preserve historical records for reference by future generations.    Records are kept for historical and cultural purposes so that the 21st century Catholics can connect with the past and see how the Parish has evolved as a vibrant faith community.

What we do

All accumulated and retained information – including print and non-print items and resources - were reviewed and critiqued during the Spring of 2019, in consultation with then Pastor Monsignor Dennis Noon, before they were put in storage during the renovation of the Parish Office/Rectory.
The recordkeeping principles applied are in accordance with Diocesan Guidelines and include the following:
  • Acquisition and collection
  • Appraisal and disposal
  • Organizing and storage
  • Reference and access
  • Displays and exhibits
All archived resources will be relocated to the Parish Office upon completion of the renovation.

How to get involved

If you have any items that you believe contribute to the history of the Basilica or Parish community, we ask that you contact the Parish Office at  [email protected].
